Iran short racks up more titles

Iran short 'Limit' by Javad Daraei has won title at the 12th Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival in the US.

Daraei's 'Limit' gained the Third-Prize Winner title of the Carnegie Mellon Film Festival.

The 8-minute short film is about the challenges in the daily lives of physically impaired people who are afraid to involve actively in the society because of the presuppositions and judgments.

'Limit' won in several film events, including the International Hollywood Hills Awards, the 7th St Cloud Film Fest and the 2nd Miami FearFest in the US.

The Carnegie Mellon Festival is an annual event to present a wide spectrum of contemporary world cinema, focusing on a different annual theme that addresses a current social issue.

The festival presents between 14 to 18 international narrative features, documentaries, and shorts each year.

The latest edition of the event was held March 22- April 7, 2018 in the US state of Pennsylvania.
